More on JamesMore on Nick

are really cool (and nice) theater writers who became friends in 2000 while performing in their mutual hometown of Washington, DC. They soon began work on their first book musical, GLORY DAYS (formerly titled ASS BACKWARDS), for which Nick wrote the tunes and rhyming words, and James wrote the words that don't rhyme as much. Their show has been performed in various incarnations all over the country at venues like the University of Michigan, Kennedy Center, Lucille Lortel Theatre, Weston Playhouse, all before receiving its world premiere production, which will be at the prestigious Signature Theatre in January of 2008, under the direction of Eric Schaeffer (PUTTING IT TOGETHER, THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK). The Washington Post has already lauded the show as "soaringly tuneful" and "expertly calibrated," which is pretty great, and all before their 24th birthday! James and Nick are very lucky guys.
